सारूप्य मुक्ति (Sārūpya Mukti) क्या है?
सारूप्य मुक्ति हिंदू दर्शन में वर्णित मुक्ति की एक अवस्था है। “सारूप्य” का अर्थ है—भगवान के समान दिव्य रूप या स्वरूप को प्राप्त करना।
इस मुक्ति में भक्त भगवान की भक्ति, साधना और कृपा के फलस्वरूप ऐसा दिव्य स्वरूप प्राप्त करता है जो भगवान के स्वरूप के समान माना जाता है। इसका अर्थ यह नहीं कि भक्त स्वयं भगवान बन जाता है, बल्कि उसे भगवान के समान दिव्य रूप और गुणों की प्राप्ति मानी जाती है।
सारूप्य मुक्ति की मुख्य विशेषताएँ
दिव्य स्वरूप की प्राप्ति — भक्त को भगवान के समान या उनके अनुरूप दिव्य रूप प्राप्त होता है।
आध्यात्मिक तेज — भक्त का स्वरूप दिव्य प्रकाश, तेज और आध्यात्मिक सौंदर्य से युक्त माना जाता है।
भगवान की भक्ति बनी रहती है — दिव्य रूप प्राप्त करने के बाद भी भक्त भगवान की उपासना और सेवा करता रहता है।
सांसारिक शरीर से परे — भक्त सांसारिक शरीर और उसके बंधनों से मुक्त होकर दिव्य स्वरूप प्राप्त करता है।
दिव्य गुणों की प्राप्ति — भक्त में आध्यात्मिक शांति, ज्ञान, प्रेम और आनंद जैसे दिव्य गुण प्रकट होते हैं।
भगवान से भिन्नता बनी रह सकती है — पारंपरिक वैष्णव व्याख्याओं में सारूप्य का अर्थ भगवान के समान दिव्य रूप प्राप्त करना है, न कि भगवान के साथ पूर्ण तादात्म्य होना।
सरल उदाहरण
जैसे कोई राजा अपने अत्यंत प्रिय सेवक को राजसी वस्त्र, आभूषण और राजकीय स्वरूप प्रदान कर दे, जिससे वह राजा के समान दिखाई देने लगे, लेकिन वह राजा स्वयं न बने—उसी प्रकार सारूप्य मुक्ति में भक्त को भगवान के समान दिव्य स्वरूप प्राप्त होता है, जबकि उसकी भक्ति और भगवान के प्रति प्रेम बना रहता है।

“भगवान की भक्ति और कृपा से भक्त को भगवान के समान दिव्य एवं आध्यात्मिक स्वरूप की प्राप्ति होना, जबकि भक्त का भगवान के प्रति प्रेम, भक्ति और सेवा का संबंध बना रहना, सारूप्य मुक्ति कहलाता है।”
What is Sarupya Mukti?
Sarupya Mukti is a state of liberation described in Hindu philosophy. The word “Sarupya” means attaining a divine form or appearance similar to that of God.
In this form of liberation, through devotion, spiritual practice, and the grace of God, the devotee attains a divine form that is considered similar to the form of God. This does not mean that the devotee himself becomes God; rather, the devotee is understood to receive a divine form and spiritual qualities similar to those of God.
Main Characteristics of Sarupya Mukti
- Attainment of a Divine Form — The devotee attains a divine form similar or corresponding to the form of God.
- Spiritual Radiance — The devotee’s form is considered to possess divine light, spiritual brilliance, and beauty.
- Devotion to God Continues — Even after attaining the divine form, the devotee continues to worship and serve God.
- Freedom from the Material Body — The devotee becomes free from the limitations of the material body and attains a divine form.
- Attainment of Divine Qualities — Spiritual qualities such as peace, knowledge, love, and bliss are manifested in the devotee.
- Distinction from God May Remain — In traditional Vaishnava interpretations, Sarupya means attaining a divine form similar to God, rather than becoming completely identical with God.
Simple Example
Just as a king may grant a beloved and devoted servant royal clothing, ornaments, and a royal appearance, making the servant look similar to the king without becoming the king himself, similarly, in Sarupya Mukti, the devotee attains a divine form similar to God while continuing to love, worship, and serve God.
